Unified Content has been talked about within the Joomla community for years. Developers, deflated by tedious work, romanticized its simplicity and power. Unfortunately, too little progress has been made... until now.

In this session, we'll explore the Unified Content Model that was built at eBay via a simple example application. We'll dive into what it does, how it will improve your applications and extensions, and why it should be included in the Joomla! platform.
