Event Calendars for Joomla Websites - so many possibilities

Event lists and calendars can be used for many purposes on a Joomla site.

For example :

  • Present information about events taking place with sophisticated searching and presentation options
  • Display and control company press-releases
  • Manage simple staffing roster or staff vacation planning on an intranet
  • Take paid registrations for events
  • Basic event management - linking suppliers, staff and resources in to an event with the ability to track the project workflow in private whilst limiting only the core event information to be public
  • etc.

in this presentation I will be showing how JEvents and its addons can be used to achieve some of these functions with some real live example sites to look at.
