Judith BraunburgerSince moving a lot the last 6 years from Germany, Sweden, Italy and now to the US, Judith worked as an MS Office trainer and started to create websites with Joomla. Before she did project assistance for Swedish/German business development and worked in the IT-coordination mostly help-desk and hotline.


Personally, Judith enjoys being with her 3 boys, her husband and her dogs.

Linda Amiaga - Website Content

Linda AmiagaLinda is a software developer with over 20 years of programming experience, mainly in the telecom industry. She has worked for both AT&T and Lucent Technologies, where she developed network management software for multi-vendor data networking equipment.

Linda created her first website in 1987 and discovered Joomla in the summer of 2011. She was thrilled to find that Joomla is built on MySQL and PHP, technologies she already knows well from her years of working with Informix, Oracle, MySQL and Unix based scripting languages. She is excited about the future direction of Joomla and is looking forward to hearing more about the 3.0 release and future plans for the mobile environment.

Linda holds a degree in Mathematics from Montclair State University and a graduate degree in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Ryan Bly - Program Booklet

Ryan BlyRyan has been working with digital media since 1998. Beginning with Quark Express he honed his publishing skills and has traversed applications from Macromedia to Adobe Suites designing and developing for the web. He has been working with Joomla! since 2007. While living in NC he attended Raleigh School of Communication Arts and recently earned a Bachelors degree in business from Nyack College. He is also an avid sports photographer and has covered World Championship events.

Sherene Strausberg

Sherene Strausberg is an interdisciplinary graphic designer skilled in web, print, media and package design. She has worked as a designer in Los Angeles and New York, creating logos, posters, websites and more. Prior to studying design, she worked as a sound engineer at National Public Radio for five years. And she continues to pursue her career as a  film composer, writing music for documentary films. You can see examples of her designs and music at www.sweetnotes.com. She lives (and plays!) in New York City with her husband and new baby.
